Summer Worship

Every week is a great week for worship; indoor or outdoor, traditional or contemporary or blended! Right now we’re counting the days until two of our weekly services move outdoors to the Trinity Chapel which faces 4th Street.

Outdoor worship will begin Wednesday, June 7th.

Here’s the plan for summer 2025:
Sunday 8:30 a.m. worship in the Sanctuary.
Sunday 10:30 a.m. worship outdoors in the Trinity Chapel (weather permitting).
Wednesday 6 p.m. worship outdoors in the Trinity Chapel (weather permitting).

You are invited to bring a blanket or chair for the outdoor worship services. We will also have chairs available to use. On Wednesdays, watch for announcements about a light meal (once a month), or an ice cream treat after worship!

Summer Outdoor Setup Help

Every musical group needs some non-musicians they can lean on for help before the music begins and after the music ends. We’re looking for folks this summer to help take the sound/music equipment out to the Peace Chapel each Wednesday evening (5 p.m.) and Sunday morning (9 a.m.) Set it up, then tear down following the service. As some folks (like my momma) would say, “Many hands makes light work.” Whether you can help a few times, or many times, please sign up at the welcome desk, contact one of the pastors, or leave a message on Pastor Mary Lou’s voicemail.

Special Music

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have special music at every service? It’s possible, especially if you/a friend/a family member would offer their gift to enhance our worship with a solo, duet or ensemble song. We’d love to hear from relatives who come back to see family, students here during a break from studies, new members and not-new members! Contact Mary Lou to set something up!
