“Stories to Tell” – a Lenten Sermon Series
Our Lenten series this year is “Stories to Tell.” At each of our Wednesday midweek services, a congregation member will tell their faith story. Hearing these stories will be a gift, but it will also help each of us to think about our faith story. We all have a faith story. Sometimes we just need some help and guidance to think about our own faith more deeply. Throughout this Lenten Season, Pastor Mark and Pastor Martha will provide some journaling prompts to help you think more deeply about your faith and your faith story. We hope that you will take the time to think about your faith and how your faith has impacted your life. We are hoping by hearing people’s stories and thinking more deeply about our own story that we will begin to create an environment where people are willing to share their joys and their struggles, times when their faith was solid and times where it felt unstable. In sharing these stories with one another, we all grow in our faith and our community grows as well.
